Urban Youth Initiative has been at the forefront of making a difference in children’s lives since 2014. Located at the intersection of community and life, the Urban Youth Initiative is happy to have played a critical part in the life-affirming journey that builds on the richness and power of lifelong values of our volunteers, support staff, educators, and administrators. We have been providing young people the values and skills they need to become exceptional community leaders and we are looking forward to the next part of the journey -- being able to support our members/students in earning their High School Equivalence credentials. The UYI Schools of Promise will be a network of New York State accredited learning academies designed to offer instruction in the Bronx, with a focus on the social-emotional support.

Eruditionist Scholarship 2021-2022
The Urban Youth Initiative has launched the Eruditionist Scholarship award for 2021-2022. All nominees must download, read, sign and upload the commitment form in the "Commitment Form" section of this page. All information must be submitted by the date indicated on the form.
